How to be saved
Romans 5:17 (KJV)
17
For
if
by
one
man's
offence
death
reigned
by
one;
much
more
they
which
receive
abundance
of
grace
and
of
the
gift
of
righteousness
shall
reign
in
life
by one, Jesus Christ.)
The
Bible
declares
that
just
as
man
had
to
do
nothing
to
be
tagged
as
a
sinner,
seeing
the
works
of
Adam
was
ascribed
unto
him,
in
like
manner,
the
good
works
of
Christ
who
knew
no
sin
can
be
yours
if
you
accept
it.
1
John
2:2
(KJV)
2
And
he
is
the
propitiation
for
our
sins:
and
not
for
ours
only,
but
also
for
the
sins
of
the
whole
world.
Christ
work
on
the
cross
of
receiving
the
punishment in our stead or place is what gives us peace with God.
God's
word
declares
in
Romans
5:15-16
(NLT)
15
But
there
is
a
great
difference
between
Adam’s
sin
and
God’s
gracious
gift.
For
the
sin
of
this
one
man,
Adam,
brought
death
to
many.
But
even
greater
is
God’s
wonderful
grace
and
his
gift
of
forgiveness
to
many
through
this
other
man,
Jesus
Christ.
16And
the
result
of
God’s
gracious
gift
is
very
different
from
the
result
of
that
one
man’s
sin.
For
Adam’s
sin
led
to
condemnation,
but
God’s
free
gift
leads
to
our
being
made
right
with
God,
even
though
we
are
guilty
of
many
sins.
17For
the
sin
of
this
one
man,
Adam,
caused
death
to
rule
over
many.
But
even
greater
is
God’s
wonderful
grace
and
his
gift
of
righteousness,
for
all
who
receive
it
will
live
in
triumph
over
sin
and
death
through
this
one
man,
Jesus Christ.
The
Bible
declares
in
Isaiah
53:4-6
(BBE)
4
But
it
was
our
pain
he
took,
and
our
diseases
were
put
on
him:
while
to
us
he
seemed
as
one
diseased,
on
whom God's punishment had come.
5
But
it
was
for
our
sins
he
was
wounded,
and
for
our
evil
doings
he
was
crushed:
he
took
the
punishment
by
which
we
have
peace,
and
by
his
wounds
we are made well.
6
We
all
went
wandering
like
sheep;
going
every
one
of
us
after
his
desire;
and the Lord put on him the punishment of us all.
You
can
come
boldly
in
faith
knowing
that
God
gives
freely
(James
1:5)
without
fault
finding
and
accept
this
great
work
done
by
his
son
Jesus
to
give
you
peace
with
him.
Accept
Gods
remedy
for
sin,
Gods
propitiation
(appeasement)
to
have
eternal
peace
with
him
in
the
person
of
Jesus
Christ
was fulfilled on Calvary.
Dearest
God
I
am
grateful
that
I
now
understand
all
you
did
to
make
me
right
with
you
and
have
eternal
peace
as
well
with
you.
I
accept
C
hrist's
work
on
Calvary
to
appease
or
make
propitiation
with
you.
I
live
in
the
confidence
that
when
he
shed
his
blood
it
gave
me
the
boldness
to
stand
in
your
presence
eternally
without
the
feeling
of
inferiority,
doubt,
condemnation
or
impending
judgment.
I
am
eternally
grateful
for
all
you
have
done
and
I
give
you
my
life
to
live
through.
Live
the
life
of
Christ
in
me
that
I
might
be
reborn
from
now
onwards
with
the
life
that
Christ
gave
through
his
work
on the cross. Write my name in your precious book of life. Amen.
